Make a wide band sterling silver ring in this 3.5 hour workshop.

Start with a 1cm wide strip of silver and choose whether to texture it with hammers, imprint a design with the rolling mill or add details with stamps.

You will then cut your strip of silver to the correct length using a jewellers saw and form it into a ring before soldering it.

You can then decide to add extra detail with silver wire / balls or shapes which are soldered onto your ring.

There's some filing and sanding to do before the rings are put in a tumble polisher to produce a high shine if you want.

12-16 year olds need to be accompanied by an adult.
