You will be making a bezel cup for the stone so it’s a good course for anyone wanting some soldering practice! Beginners are welcome!

Make 2 pairs of silver hoops in this 3 hour class. Using silver wire and sheet create hoops of your own design. Use hammers, stamps and the rolling mill to pattern your silver, learn to form the hoops and solder the posts. Great to give as a present or for yourself!

Learn to combine silver and resin in this session to complete a striking set of jewellery. You’ll be using a disc cutter and doming block to form silver cups which you will then solder onto a ring and earring posts. The session ends when you have filled the cups with resin. You’ll get your finished jewellery a week later after the resin has hardened.

You may have seen these being made on the TV show “All That Glitters” (if you haven’t then I highly recommend it! ). They’re also known as Fidget rings or Worry rings, with an inner ring and one or more outer rings which can spin.

It’s a good challenge for you to come and make your own and will certainly give you lots of soldering practice. The class size is limited to 4 so beginners are welcome!

You’ll make a wide silver ring band which you’ll size, shape and solder. One or two thin ring bands are then made to fit over the wide band. The top and bottom are curved using a punch. Sit back and relax whilst your ring is finished to a high shine in the tumbler.

Make a wide band sterling silver ring in this 3.5 hour workshop.

Start with a 1cm wide strip of silver and choose whether to texture it with hammers, imprint a design with the rolling mill or add details with stamps.

You will then cut your strip of silver to the correct length using a jewellers saw and form it into a ring before soldering it.

You can then decide to add extra detail with silver wire / balls or shapes which are soldered onto your ring.

There's some filing and sanding to do before the rings are put in a tumble polisher to produce a high shine if you want.
